Who We Are

The National Gluten-Free Family & Allies Foundation supports families across the United States navigating medically required gluten-free living. We focus on the entire family system — children, caregivers, siblings, schools, and community partners — recognizing that gluten-free living is not simply a diagnosis, but an ongoing daily transition that requires sustained education, coordination, and support.

2026 Priority Initiative

In 2026, the Foundation is focused on developing and piloting practical implementation resources designed to support schools and community organizations in accommodating medically required gluten-free students.

This initiative includes:

• Development of standardized school accommodation guides
• Family-facing transition toolkits for newly diagnosed households
• Pilot outreach to selected districts and community partners

Grant funding will directly support resource development, design, pilot distribution, and evaluation.

2026 Pilot Implementation Plan - SMART Objectives

By December 2026, the National Gluten-Free Family & Allies Foundation will:

  • Develop and publish 3 standardized implementation guides for schools and community organizations serving medically required gluten-free families.

  • Pilot these resources with 5–10 partner sites (schools, community centers, or family networks).

  • Directly reach at least 250 families through pilot distribution and digital access.

  • Collect structured feedback from a minimum of 50 participating families or administrators to refine scalable models for 2027 expansion.

  • Produce a brief impact summary report documenting lessons learned, barriers identified, and next-phase recommendations.

This pilot phase will establish the foundation for broader multi-state implementation beginning in 2027.
